This small, independent Mexican restaurant is located right in the middle of Chapel Allerton. It’s easy to get to on the bus from the city centre, and has off-street parking right outside. The restaurant itself is quite small, but always packed, so it’s a good idea to book in advance.

The menu has a range of delicious Mexican classics, including burritos, tacos, and enchiladas, but they also have a Mexican street food section, where they offer delicious smaller tapas such as quesadillas, costillas, and sopes.

Neon Cactus

If you’re looking for somewhere right in the city centre, then Neon Cactus is a great option for a Mexican meal. Neon Cactus is situated on Call Lane and is also a popular bar at the weekends.

This charming little restaurant has a calm and laid-back atmosphere, with a delicious menu and huge range of drinks on offer. Diners can choose between burritos, fajitas, nachos, and more, and there are also taco sharing boards and a feast menu on offer.

Cielo Blanco

Situated in the heart of the Leeds Trinity shopping centre, Cielo Blanco is owned by the Leelex Group – the same people who own Jakes’, Oporto, and Neon Cactus on Call Lane. The restaurant offers up delicious, authentic cuisine, and is a great place to grab a bite to eat at any time of the day.

The inside of the restaurant is a good size, and it also has a well-designed terrace area for those who fancy sitting outside. The menu has been designed to offer an authentic, Mexican street food vibe, with diners able to choose 6 dishes between two people for just £11.95 each. They also have larger dishes, including burritos and enchiladas, and with a bar in the middle of the restaurant, there are tons of different drink options available.
