Iberica Leeds

1. Iberica Leeds

Iberica

Tapas, with its rich flavours and opportunity to try lots of different selections form the menu has always been a favourite of mine (i like food!) and Iberica has been, in our opinion, one of the very best restaurants Leeds has to offer since it opened its doors.

Their Christmas offering is definitely worth a try. With dishes like Cured Iberian acorn-fed “Presa” and Scallops, crispy ham & cauliflower purée with a citric dressing we’re certain you’ll love this place as much as we do!

Malmaison

2. Malmaison

Malmaison

Malmaison has long be at the forefront of the Leeds dining scene. With is dark and moody style, its always had the high end feeling. Recently the brasserie has had  full make over and relaunched as Chez Mal. If you’re a follower of RoL you’ll remember we ran the launch event. The food is immaculate, absolutely gorgeous. So if you’re looking to put a bit of “joie de vivre” in your Christmas, Malmaison comes highly recommended. and if you’re looking for a spur of the moment after work party, every Monday – Wednesday is ‘Thank Mal its Xmas’.5pm – 8pm £5 cocktails!

La Cour

3. La Cour

La Cour

We’re moving out of the city now and these have only just got my attention recently. Tucked away in Horsforth next to a well known chip shop, very well know Indian, across from a greek that has 2 or 3 venues and the all mighty Domino’s opposite, you’d be forgiven for thinking that competition must be fierce, and im sure it is! However La Cour definitely hold their own. I went to for the first time last week and was amazed at the quality, great food at a great price, so if you’re looking for somewhere out of the hustle and bustle of the city, La Cour should be on your list

Kebabeesh

4. Kebabeesh

Kebabeesh

We live in a world of fusion this and bubble foam puree’d that. Whatever happened to choosing something you love and doing it well? Kebabeesh have lived by that motto for over 30 years. This isn’t a fancy duplex style restaurant with mirrored everything, because they dont want that. They’ve been serving the locals of Greengates how they want to. From their family to yours, because its been the same family running the restaurant for 30 years. If you’re looking for a relaxed venue away from the city where all are welcome, parties, family, couples then we cant sing the praises of Kebabeesh enough!
