They have seating outside incase the sun is out, and tea for two costs just £7.95. If you are looking for something a bit more indulgent, then there are cheesecakes, fruit tarts, doughnuts, profiteroles, and more – you may struggle to pick just one thing off the menu.

If you are looking for a French tea room right in the heart of Leeds, then Le Chalet has got you covered. With a creamy atmosphere, the place screams out gluttonous sweet treats.  It’s only been open in Leeds for just over a year, but it has certainly made an impact on those looking for an indulgent delight.

Their cake display is endless and includes macaroons, mille-feuilles, eclairs, and a range of tarts and biscuits. They have a passion for patisserie, and boy does it show. With new items added to the menu on a daily basis, you will find yourself struggling to walk past without going in to try something new.

A little further out of Leeds city center, Croissant D’or can be found in Rawdon. This gem of a cafe is a traditional French patisserie run by Alpha and his wife Tina. They have a lovely little cafe you can visit, but they also offer take away 7 days a week

The menu is fantastic and they offer a selection of viennoiserie, flans, tarts and cakes – all freshly baked in the early hours each morning. This gorgeous cafe really allows customers to relax in a traditional French atmosphere, while satisfying their cravings for a sweet and tasty treat.

Joe Delucci’s

If you are in a bit of a hurry, but craving something sweet, then Joe Delucci’s is definitely worth a try. With over twenty four different Gelato flavours, this is traditional Italian ice cream at its best, and all available in the heart of Leeds.

Not only does it taste amazing, but it isn’t too bad for you either. If you are on a big health kick this Easter then don’t worry – Joe Delucci’s offers fat free, dairy free, and gluten free options as well. They make sundaes, milkshakes and fruit smoothies too, so whatever your craving, there’s something for everyone.
