With the Holiday season fast approaching, it may be time for you to reconnect with long lost family members, distant friends or maybe even bond with your work colleagues. Either way, November, December and January are undoubtedly the 3 months of the year in which you dine out with large groups. The hard bit is finding a suitable place that can fit your large group of friends or family in comfortably, without being squished onto tiny tables after an hour long wait to be seated.

Below is a list of some great restaurants for groups in Leeds without any hassle:

Red Chilli

1. Red Chilli

Everyone loves a Chinese, so taking large groups out for this tasty cuisine is always a safe bet. If there is one place to visit though, it has to be Red Chilli. This award winning establishment is located on Great George Street, offering a prime location for large groups to start the perfect night out.

Red Chilli won the Britain’s Favourite Chinese Restaurant award in 2012, and it was for good reason. Their menu consists of some of the most exquisite authentic Chinese dishes around, including beef fillet in black bean sauce, stir fried mixed vegetables and spicy hot poached sliced pork in chilli. They also have a huge range of vegetarian options, including stir fried potato with red chilli, sweet and sour tofu and stir fried sweet corn pine kernels.

Red Chilli is a huge restaurant that will always have room for large groups of people, but I would recommend booking in advance if your group happens to be over 16 people.

Atlas

2. Atlas

You can’t beat a good Gastro Pub, especially when you are with a large group of people that appreciate good English food and a pint of fine ale. Situated in the heart of Leeds city centre, a short walk from the station, Atlas prides itself on providing an authentic styled Gastro pub, offering people delicious home cooked meals and a fine selection of drinks.

In fact, Atlas houses over 100 whiskies, 6 hand pulled ales, 10 draft beers and even more in terms of spirits and wines. If it’s a night on the ale your group is after, you are sure not to be disappointed in Atlas. Their food menu is also just as great! The Atlas menu offers a large variety of delicious dishes, including their vegetable risotto, pan fried sea bass fillets, beef wellington and roast beef, pork and chicken.

If one of your group happens to have a sweet tooth, which I am sure they will, Atlas has a range of mouth-watering deserts, including their chocolate torte, chocolate and orange parfait and the ever famous bread and butter pudding.

Chaophraya

3. Chaophraya

Situated in the heart of Leeds, Chaophraya is an authentic, Thai inspired restaurant offering up a selection of the most amazing Thai dishes and exquisite drink available in the Leeds area.

Chaophraya prides itself on serving up a quaint and tranquil atmosphere, along with prize winning service to make your time there as relaxing and luxurious as possible. All of their staff are fully trained and well equipped to deal with large groups, making sure everyone is adequately seen to and gets exactly what they want.

Their menu is sure to have something for everyone, including chicken satay and pork spare ribs, Thai green curry, red prawn curry, and a huge range of rice and noodle dishes. If there is a vegetarian in the group, not to worry, they also offer a delicious range of vegetarian dishes.

No matter how large your group is, you will be sure to dine in comfort, especially since the opening of the brand new palm sugar lounge, fitted with sunken seating, comfortable plump cushions and stylish décor. They also have a selection of private dining rooms if you were looking for a place to call your own for a few hours.
