That’s right, two delicious mouth watering Yorkshire Puddings wrapped around a succulent and juicy beef burger. Weird, right? Well, no weirder than Reds True BBQ’s sweet and savoury concoction, that sees two deep fried ‘seaside style’ doughnuts replacing the traditional bread bun.

Many restaurants nowadays are looking for the ideal way to offer not only a great menu, but something that adds real value and is completely out of the ordinary for customers to try. Rift and Co. have done just that with their monstrous Yorkshire Pudding Burger.

Situated in Harrogate, Rift and Co. is a contemporary and stylish restaurant and bar serving up a wide range of different cuisines, including spicy mexican dishes, such as stuffed jalapenos, classic american, such as hot dogs, and traditional English food, including fish and chips. The desserts aren’t too bad either; for those chocolate lovers out there, they offer a trio of sweet, melt in the mouth chocolate dishes, including white choc fudge cake, warm brownie and the choc mess, which consists of rich chocolate brownie, meringue, ice cream and whipped cream, all topped with a rich chocolate sauce.

For those who enjoy a good drink, their menu is extensive and offers customers a vast range of sweet and sour cocktails, including the Moscow Mule, Jammy Dodger, Raspberry Colada and Passion Fruit Mojito, and if you are a real party-goer, they also have an impressive selection of 20 shots, each with its own unique flavour.

But that’s enough about the main menu, let’s get to the good part, the Yorkshire Pudding Burger. As i mentioned earlier, Rift and Co. now offer a delightful, yet strange, Yorkshire Pudding Burger. The burger, unlike many other creations, is actually fairly simple; you can tell the creator thought not to go over the top with silly sauces and mashed up ingredients. Instead, the burger is literally made up of a succulent beef patty topped with cheese and salad, encased in two soft Yorkshire Puddings.

The burger strikes me as the perfect mix of a traditional sunday roast, which everybody loves, and the more modernised burger addiction many people now have.  If you are a burger lover, or likewise, have a curiosity for slightly different food, I would definitely suggest heading down to Harrogate to try out the ultimate concoction, the Yorkshire Pudding Burger.
